Outstanding Faculty Award

The Outstanding Faculty Achievement Award recognizes a tenure-track faculty member who has been at Georgia State University for four to ten years and whose rank is at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.
Eligibility and Criteria
This award is open to GSU graduate faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank that demonstrate significant and noteworthy achievements in scholarship, teaching and service.
Nomination packages should include:
- A nomination letter from the nominator that describes the attributes and accomplishments which distinguish the nominee;
- The nominee’s current curriculum vitae; and
- A maximum of 5 letters of support. These can be from the dean, department chair, external professional colleagues, GSU faculty, and current or former students.
Nominations and attachments should be submitted electronically to OFAawards@gsu.edu by February 17, 2017.
