GSU Disability Resources
Support for Students with Disabilities
The Access and Accommodations Center (AACE) provides support to any students with documented disabilities who choose to identify themselves to AACE. Support services include assistive technology, academic coaching, note-taking, and lab assistance services. Students with disabilities should register with the AACE which provides Letters of Accommodation after students have submitted the required documentation. The AACE representatives are also available at each Perimeter College campus.
Support for Faculty and Staff with Disabilities
The HR-Benefits office works with eligible employees to identify the most appropriate accommodations in a given situation. Accommodations are made on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the type and severity of the employee’s disability and the employee’s job requirements. To receive an accommodation in the workplace, the faculty/staff member must first self-identify as having a disability. Additional information can be found on the HR-ADA site.
Support for Guests with Disabilities Attending GSU Events
