Academic Leadership Institute
The Academic Leadership Institute (ALI) at Georgia State University is a formal initiative designed to cultivate leadership excellence among faculty and other academic and administrative personnel. The Institute serves as a hub for leadership development in the Office of Faculty Affairs by offering training, mentoring, and professional learning opportunities focused on academic governance, strategic planning, belonging, institutional management, and innovation.
Advancement of Women
This program supports the advancement of women faculty, administrators, and staff in academic and administrative leadership positions within the university. Click here for more information.
The Leadership Hour
The Leadership Hour is a leadership development program open to all faculty, from all ranks, at Georgia State, and was inaugurated during the spring 2024 semester. Workshops feature special guests who discuss their own leadership practices, including learning from challenges and growth experiences.
