When you set a goal, you have an objective or target in mind that you want to achieve. Whether the goal is professional and/or personal, it is important that the goal is SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and, time-bound).

Time to Write
Finding time to write during the academic year can be a challenge. The Office of Faculty Affairs leads a number of programs to support faculty writing:
- The Write in Network (WIN): A comprehensive 12-week cohort-based writing accountability program
- The Writing Tables: Day-long writing retreats for faculty

Our goals can also go beyond our classrooms. We also make financial plans for ourselves and our families. The University System of Georgia offers employee resources for financial planning, investing, or saving. Take advantage of financial coaches or resources to help you start investing in your future.
